This is acutally a web download. I heard about it during an onlline PD and thought it looked good. This is the #1 go to program that the kids have chosen since I put it on all of the computer in my lab. I would say this is primarily an engineering program.
Science4Us is an excellent source for building primary learners to integrate science more fully when entering elementary school. Highly recommend for teachers as also a source of transitioning to third grade.

Building Big is a great site for students to test their engineering skills. There are interactive sites and also activities to take the learning to a new level. I have done this will young studnents and older students. It can be tailored to your age group.

Virtual worlds robotic programming, computer science tutorials, and a clear and effective interface make this a great site to let students explore a multitude of programming options on their own. Great for learning to program NxT G at an individual pace. Students can earn badges. Students can also develop mathematics skills through robot behaviors. This is a rich resource and frequently updated and enhanced.
