Nutrition Labels & Organic Compounds
Students bring in a nutritional label that they found on something that they would normally eat as a homework assignment. (Power bar wrapper, chips bag, etc... Avoid drinks and straight candy.) During class I have them examine their label and answer the questions on the top part of the worksheet (so I'm there to answer any questions).
