I have developed and teach a 3 year engineering program for our high school. I am also serve as the lead teacher for the Career and Technology Department. I teach a rocketry summer workshop for elementary students. I work with NASA High School Aerospace Scholars. Additionally, I provide mathematics and physics tutoring throughout the school year.

Students will be tasked to design a roller coaster with hot water pipe insulation, masking tape, and various supports. From this they will calculate the work done and energy lost throughout their coaster. Each group will present their project to the class and demonstrate their roller coaster, then they will improve the energy efficiency of their coaster, repeat their calculations to see if they were successful.
